The Utilities list
Every one of Saiki's tools in one list in the bar, in the order you choose, for when you don't remember a tool's name.
Open it
Type utilities (or tools, toolbox) and press ↵ on Utilities. You can give it a hotkey on Settings → Hotkeys.
Each row is a tool with a line saying what it does: Take Screenshot, Applications, Clean Up Mac, Clipboard History, Window Management, Uninstaller, Clean Copied Link, Cleaning Mode, Copy Text from Screen, Camera Preview, Scratchpad, Shelf, Emoji & Symbols, Saiki, Record Screen and Port Manager. A tool whose feature is off isn't listed.
- Type to filter the list by name or description.
- Press ↵ to open the selected tool, the same as its own command. Uninstaller and Window Management start a search instead (
uninstallandwindow), so you can type the app or the command. - esc goes back to the search.
Arrange the list
Press ⌘E, or choose Edit Utilities… in ⌘K. Each row gets a drag handle and an eye, and hidden tools are listed too, marked.
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
| Drag a handle | Moves the tool. |
| ⌥⌘↑ / ⌥⌘↓ | Moves the selected tool up or down. This works outside editing too. |
| ↵ | While editing: hides the tool, or shows it again. Outside editing, it's Hide from Utilities (⇧⌘H) in ⌘K. |
| ⌘E | Done Editing. |
⌘K also has Reset Utilities, which puts back the default order and shows every tool, and Arrange in Settings….
One list, two places
The Utilities list and the Utilities tab of the Menu Bar Panel share one order and one set of hidden tools. Change it in either, or on Settings → Menu Bar Panel in the Utilities card, and the other follows.
